An exciting week at Rainbow Haven Provincial Park in early June 2026 as a pair of Little Blue Herons (Egretta caerulea) not very common to Nova Scotia showed up for viewing with their distinctive mostly grayish-blue body and contrasting deep purplish head and neck.
