Rare visitors to Nova Scotia, the Townsend's Solitaire (native to western North America) and the Hooded Warbler (typically native to more southern regions of Eastern North America) have been spotted in the Halifax area (Bissett Lake and Hartlen Point respectively) through the middle of April 2026.
