Miner’s Marsh, Kentville, NS

Approximately one hour from Halifax, Miner’s Marsh is a beautiful wet land habitat located in the town of Kentville, NS.  The drive was well worth it having the opportunity to take photos of a variety of bird species enjoying a sunny spring morning (0°-12° C). Red-winged Blackbirds were quite active, along with a range of other bird species. More enjoyable was that my wife (Edna) recently got a new lens for wildlife photography and we are now enjoying this pastime together.

The marsh provides a scenic walking trail encompassed by well establish mature hard wood and soft wood trees with shrubs along the marsh perimeter. For more details on Miner’s Marsh visit their website at: https://kentville.ca/parks-and-recreation/parks/miners-marsh.
